A 9-year-old Arizona boy is being feted as a hero after he saved a small kitten that was being tossed around by a group of older kids “like he was a football.”
Zayin Berry ran toward the group at a Somerton, Ariz. skate park and offered his prized skateboard in exchange for the terrified animal.
Berry’s quick-thinking saved the kitten’s life and later earned him national recognition as the ASPCA’s “Kid of the Year” for 2025.

Well, it’s not like the world has seen their faces now.
Oh.
Wait.
“Every one of them are heading down a bad path.”
They’ll be conversing with family and friends behind Plexiglass shortly, and ID will have episodes featuring them.
Makes me sick — literally — when people abuse innocent defenseless people and animals.
“Fortunate to have lived her entire life being cared for by people who loved her.”
Ditto for our many cats —. I guess 14 over our marriage. They never even had a harsh word directed at them. All except two were rescues. We have two remaining. The most recent one that died was ours for 15 years, but she was an adult when we brought her in so we’re not sure of her age.
My favorite of our cats was a tuxie, Fiona. Smart. Funny — she made me laugh every day. Liked to sleep under the lid of the grand piano.
He’s lucky the psychopaths didn’t turn on him....
We fed that bird rolled up bread and milk until it grew its tail to full length and that sparrow was great companion for years - she would fly around at night, fly in my open window early in the morning and wake me for my paper route - then ride on the handlebars of my bike while I delivered the newspapers!
*We just had a tiny little tuxedo manx show up at our front door on Friday. She’s maybe 2 months old. It was our lucky day and looking forward to all the years we will get to be with her*
Aww! I wish you many wonderful years with your new kitty!
Oh, I love that story!!
I could tell you lots of silly stories about that sparrow - it was very smart and affectionate and could do all sorts of tricks. I developed a lifelong love of birds and their modes of communication - even now I have three small parrots, and they are great fun and good companions.

Name a photos for the future Ass Holes List.
Zayin Berry must have Republican parents!!! 😀
We have two Siamese rescues (a seal point and a snowshoe). Not from the same litter but adopted within a few months of each other and raised together. We need them as much as they need us, and they need each other for companionship.
Around the house we have 3 cats and two dogs. In the shed, 4 cats decided to move in. They are getting tame, but still skittish at time. We want to take them to the vet for a checkup and neutering.
I had a tuxedo manx for many many years.
Instead of running around, she’d hop like a bunny
when chasing toys.
wishing you and the manx kitten many many years of happiness!
Aluminum also has a nice ring to it.
Finish with Tony Lama Boots, Size 13, pointed toe.
Where the story about the animal abusing kids (Possible future serial killers) being punished, counseled or just plain getting their sick little buts beaten black and blue?
May as well get them known by the authority’s now.
Animals abusing people are generally put to death rather soon.
They were just kids, and should be punished.
Fauci is a grown man and paid people in Tunisia to drug beagles, cut their vocal cords and lock their heads in mesh cages filled with hungry sand flies so that the insects could eat them alive,”
“They also locked beagles alone in cages in the desert overnight for nine consecutive nights to use them as bait to attract infectious sand flies.”
An Eye for an Eye. 44 beagles are worth far more than Fauci, and I would watch a pay per view of him in the desert being eaten alive by insects.
Tipped toes, hopefully.
😬
