In two weeks it will be.

Putin ain’t going anywhere. He needs to be “motivated.”

Trump needs to actually put some pressure on the guy. Threats don’t work with Putin.

The last thing I heard Trump say anything regarding Tomahawks he said we needed more for OUR OWN DEFENSE. The implications for that is that he will be giving the Ukes fewer Tomahawks than they want or perhaps none at all. IMHO, anyhow.

From day one, when Tomahawks first came up, I immediately saw it as a ploy by Trump. And I don’t think it is a mistake by Trump to float that balloon. He should use every inch of leverage that he can. It is how he has functioned his entire business career in negotiations.

I don’t think he has any intention whatsoever of allowing Tomahawks to end up in Ukraine’s hands. I don’t think he has ever had any intention of doing so.

There is a lot of hyperventilating about it. I think that is what he wants.

Could I be wrong? Sure. But I don’t see it happening, ever.

Providing Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine might be dangerously escalatory insanity.

There would never be a time to send Tomahawks or long-range missiles to Ukraine.

That push us closer to WW III and nuclear war and would be as bad anything Biden did.

But...but...I was most exuberantly informed that Ukraine had the ability to build their own fabulous cruise missile called the Flamingo.

What need have they of our missiles...except to drag us further into the conflict.

JMO, YMMV

We are just wearing the Russians down. This is modern warfare fought with drones and wit. Russia is still fighting the last war. They may take Ukraine, but they may lose their society as it was.
No need to invade Russia. Just make Putin use so much of his young manpower that his society can’t function as it did.
Big country lots of resources. All that will be left is old hungry people and bombs.
Easy pickings for the Chinese. Who by the way probably want the land that Russia stole from them, BACK!
That where all the OIL is.

Escalate? Good grief! The pearl-clutching author is afraid of what exactly? The Russians have already invaded, already struck purely civilian targets, already executed POWs, what else is left to do?
