An award-winning nurse has been fired from her hospital job after she vowed she would let police officers and their families 'die' during her drunk driving arrest.
Crystal Tadlock, 35, shockingly declared she would break her oath to do no harm while handcuffed in the backseat of a patrol car early Saturday morning.
She was taken into custody in Magnolia, Texas - about 45 miles outside of Houston - after she was caught speeding and failed a field sobriety test.
The nurse, who has worked in the intensive care unit at Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital for seven years, launched an expletive and racist rant at officers as they hauled her off to the county jail.
'I'm a f****** nurse, and when you come through my hospital, don't worry, I'll let you die,' Tadlock told the officer, as heard in patrol car footage obtained by KTRK.

And DO stupid things.....like get behind the wheel of a car or handle firearms.
I have to disagree about firing her for DUI.
However, she should absolutely, 100% be fired for having said what she said, even if she was drunk..
I would never call ever want an employee in a hospital I work at who said something like that.
It is vile and evil. And, it would certainly open you up for some kind of legal action patient under her care.
People make mistakes, but that kind of mistake of threatening prospective patients is one that has consequences.
Destroyed her life. She will no doubt get a job somewhere, but no hospital would knowingly hire her if they were aware of that statement.

What was said went way beyond stupid. Far worse than the DUI, which would affect care only if she went to work drunk.

She WILL need welfare if she is fired.
Her employer ought evaluate her and her work.
I have said worse things sober. I did not mean them once I calmed down. You did not have to feed my family afterward for a year.

We need a Christian citizenry permeating our country or we will trade executions left and right, back and forth. Mostly good people die by executions....look at Gaza.
Working in the ER is a very tough situation at times.
I have a cousin that is a Pediatric ER Physician in a metro hospital. When she was relatively new to the ER, she had several children code on her through no fault of hers. Just being unable to save their life, she was a basket case.
She is a top notch ER physician and has saved many lives. But the trauma of the work environment can cause severe PTSD as extreme as any military combat. We should not judge her as we do not know the facts and circumstances that facilitated her situation.
She is an example of comedian Ron White when he was pulled over for DUI. He stated, “I have the right to remain silent, but unfortunately, I no longer have the ability to remain silent.” It’s in his Tater Tot comedy routine.

Different times. Democrats are at permanent war now because they are permanently losing and that wing of the party isn’t coming back to reality, it’s sinking further into extremism and violence.
