PS. Your son was actually rather astute to figure out school was not providing him with what he needed. He did not drop out. THE SCHOOL DROPPED HIM!

There was some mutual complicity. My son was feeling a bit rebellious over the move to Idaho. A few years later, he reported that a couple of his friends from San Diego were killed by drug dealers and the sexual predator that lived down the street was finally arrested. In retrospect, the move was a good thing.
