The United States has evidence that Israel has conducted espionage against it, including

Despite a “strong alliance,” marked by our “greatest Mideast ally,” Israel, getting US taxpayer billions, these incidents have caused significant diplomatic strain.

Notable cases of Israeli espionage against the U.S.
<><>Jonathan Pollard (1985):
A U.S. Navy analyst who provided thousands of top-secret documents to Israel.

<><>Technology Transfer (2000):
Israel was found to have sold sensitive U.S. technology to China.

<><>Aopac Members arrested(2007):
Two members of the pro-Israel lobbying group Aipac were arrested for passing classified information to Israeli diplomats.

A report revealed that Israel had allegedly planted surveillance devices, like Stingrays, near the White House and other sensitive locations in Washington.

These acts of espionage damage the “close relationship,” best defined by Israel putting the touch on US taxpayers for billions of tax dollars......and has been met with concern from US officials, despite the usual “official denials” from Israel when caught with its pants down.

Some officials believe the risk of Israeli spying on the U.S. is significant.
