Poutine Ping

You may want to think about this... ‘Smoke’s Poutinerie’ a restaurant chain famous in Canada for this dish, was founded by a man who died at the age of 50 from... A heart attack.
Think about it.
No such think exists. All these designer Poutine’s are just wrong. Fries, gravy and cheese curds. That’s all.
Sorry, I don’t even know what that is…
The Oklahoma version is a “hot hamburger”. A hamburger pattie on a slice of bread, with fries on top and smothered in brown gravy. Not my cup of tea, but a lot of the locals love it. The Illinois version has cheese sauce instead of gravy, and is called “a pony”.
No Tater Tots today...
How about some Tater Swift?

Poutinertots? Down here on the border, it’s tater tot Nachos, aka Tatchos.

I guess I never really got poutine. It just turns into soggy fries.
Whoah. You don’t admit here that you eat such a thing as tater tots. Much beneath FReepers. Only pics and recipes of gourmet cuisine.
Wisconsin here. Cold cheese curds are awesome. We chow them instead of potato chips with a diabetic in house. The hot ones are good, too, but the breading is high carb. They’re popular at Dairy Queen.
Yummm. Halifax, Nova Scotia lobster poutine is amazing!
Careful! That stuff makes you antisocial and causes you to speak with a weird accent!
