The UK absolutely played a key role in the peace talks.

They, along with countries like Canada, were extremely successful in delaying the peace talks through their woke extremism that demanded recognition of Hamas.

Without those imbeciles in the UK, the peace talks could have flourished earlier with a smaller loss of life.

So, yes, they plained a key role via their idiocy.

> “We have played a key role behind the scenes in shaping this.

Yes, by creating this mess in the first place, by carving up the Ottoman Empire and creating countries to give as rewards to their Arab allies in World War I.

The U.K. played an instrumental role in the Peace deal

Starmers unabashed support for Hamas and radical Islam In general in the Middle East combined with their weakness and total inability to combat the Yemeni aggression in the Red Sea convinced the Arabs that they better cut a deal with Trump and Israel before the Brits and even more corrupt and feckless EU pols got their regimes overthrown and their families killed

By its text, I suspect someone in Qatar wrote the deal up.

“UK to help bankroll £40bn Gaza rebuilding plan - but won’t seek to help govern”

That number apparently is a newspaper estimate.

“She’s delusional”

and confirmed:

“Israel’s deputy foreign affairs minister, Sharren Haskell, told Sky News the UK played “the opposite” of a key role in the peace deal after the Palestinian state declaration, which eventually happened in September. She accused the PM’s initial threat “at a very sensitive time” in July of having “pushed Hamas to embolden their position and to refuse a ceasefire two months ago”.”

However gallsome, there is some utility in letting the idiots take credit, making it in their interest for the peace deal to work, so they don’t try as hard to undermine it.

By recognizing the terrorists in Gaza as a “state”? No.

Assigning credit, I’d recognize:

1. The IDF
2. Trump and his diplomatic team
3. Arab Allies that worked with the US

UK, France, Canada, Australia and their ilk delayed peace by supporting the terrorists and recognizing them as a state. Now here they are, trying to ride Trump’s coattails as statesmen and peacemakers.
