I had been ignoring the hype and was barely aware of the actual usefulness of this burgeoning part of the internet last Spring. But my computer hero here, Myrddin mentioned the usefulness of Grok etc... and now I spend quite a bit of time researching with these tools.

I think you're getting some good value from the models without putting too much at risk. Commercial enterprises that dive in with high expectations feel a real financial hit if the expectations are not met. In my former employment experience, the advent of a new technology during the period of performance of a running contract is something that can't be leveraged. It's not in the original Statement of Work. It's not traceable to requirements or funding estimates. It's a guaranteed missed opportunity.
