I saw JJ & The Blackhearts in Nov. 1980 and Feb. ‘81, both shows at Tommy’s Deep South Music Hall in Tallahassee FL.

The first show featured Jett opening for Iggy Pop. At the second show she announced a new song (for the Blackhearts) that would be on their upcoming album, ‘I Love Rock & Roll’. Great cover of that song, and she put on two very good shows. That whole generation of musicians are slowly fading away.

I saw her a few years ago
. The only Woodson was I love rock and roll. It didn’t help that she’s a diabetic and had a sugar drop during her performance.
