Hundreds of Anti-ICE Activists Attend Training in Oakland on 'Concrete Tactics' to 'Resist' Trump Agenda
RedState ^ | 10/6/2025 | Mike Miller

Most of us are familiar with the various tactics and strategies of the left — including congressional Democrats — in opposition to virtually everything related to President Donald Trump.

Whether it be Trump's legislative proposals, executive orders, or presently at the top of the list, sending ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) agents and National Guard troops to out-of-control Democrat-run cities to forcibly remove illegal aliens and/or quell rampant violent crime, radical leftists remain hellbent on stopping the Trump administration at every turn.

In Oakland, CA, on Sunday, hundreds of TDS-riddled radical activists attended a "training session" designed to teach "concrete tactics" that protesters could employ to better "resist" Trump and his no-nonsense administration.

Before we continue with the story at hand, let's first (re)visit the definition of "insurrection."

As you'll recall, Congressional Democrats and their sock puppets in the media ridiculously described the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot as an "insurrection." They continue to do so. Please.

By its simplest definition, "insurrection" can be defined as "a violent uprising against an authority or a government," while Britannica describes the term, thusly: "an organized and usually violent act of revolt or rebellion against an established government or governing authority of a nation-state or other political entity."

So here's the salient point:

While January 6 was a fired-up protest that got out of control, the violent actions of anti-ICE, pro-illegal alien zealots aided and abetted by Democrat governors and mayors, are clearly — in my not-so-humble opinion, demonstrable acts of insurrection — per definition.

Back to the 'Training Session' As reported by the (left-wing rag) San Francisco Chronicle, on Sunday:

Bay Resistance, a social justice nonprofit created during the first Trump administration, organized the Sunday event, which included a series of training sessions to teach people how to protect one another amid the threat of mass deportations and a possible National Guard deployment in San Francisco or Oakland.

During a morning session, organizers discussed the rise of authoritarianism, strategies used by successful antiauthoritarian movements around the globe, and noncooperation tactics, such as economic and corporate boycotts, labor strikes and transportation blockades.

Bay Resistance organizers said they have already launched several campaigns, including a Tesla Takedown, a push to prevent ICE from opening a detention facility at the former federal women’s prison in Dublin, and a volunteer effort to protect day laborers at spots where they congregate for work.

In preparation for a potential National Guard deployment or Immigration and Customs Enforcement escalation in the Bay Area, organizers said they would quickly mobilize people for a mass display of unity at San Francisco’s Embarcadero Plaza. They also called on people to hold vigils at their local libraries at 5 p.m. the day after such an announcement.

Uh-huh. We've seen all too many times how radical-leftist "vigils" turn out, haven't we? Yep, they're right up there with the left's infamous "peaceful protests."

Jane Martin, an organizer with Bay Resistance, said of the "training":

We see Trump making all these threats against the Bay Area and sanctuary cities across the country. [The training was structured to] give people concrete skills that they could use to show up and stand in solidarity and be there for their communities.”

"Be there for their communities." That's rich.

Their communities, Ms. Martin, have been terrified by violent local crime, and illegal alien crime, while state and city governments stand idly by and allow the you-know-what to go down — even when ICE agents are under assault.

In related news, an Oregon District Court judge has issued a second temporary restraining order in response to the Trump administration's deployment of National Guard troops to once-vibrant Portland.

I know — try to control your shock and amazement.

Why, they don’t even exist!

But they don't have official membership cards! They don't have uniforms or badges!

Just because their leadership is decentralized and widely distributed doesn't mean they are not an "organization". In fact, decentralized leadership is a common tactic among terrorist organizations, with many small autonomous cells operating independently, but sometimes coordinating to organize larger "events". But we don't deny they exist.

I bet in one obscure way or another, money for this “training” is ultimately coming from taxpayers, via some Fed.gov grant, program, education funding, DEI NGO project, etc. etc.

They are trying to provoke George Floyd-style incident that they will then use to instigate mass riots around the country.

Tag them and their phones.

That's what I was thinking. They could keep track of them to see where they are heading and send extra troops to counter them.

“””’Concrete Tactics’ to ‘Resist’ Trump Agenda”””

A headline and a couple clickbait phrases and that about sums up MiKe Miller’s authorship.

For those FReepers who did not read this, I did read it and there were ZERO “Concrete Tactics” detailed.

What's the over/under on number of undercover FBI agents in attendance?

Same question - for the instructors.

Does this mean these idiots can be summarily executed on sight?

M60 machine emplacements are appropriate.

A few dead rioters/terrorists might send a message to the rest of them — and the democrats.

I don’t know the answer but they could be detained indefinitely in a Sheriff Joe tent camp in the desert.

Gee what about using:

The Enforcement Act of 1871 (17 Stat. 13), also known as the Klux Klan Act, Third Enforcement Act,[1] Third Ku Klux Klan Act,[2] Civil Rights Act of 1871, or Force Act of 1871,[3] is an Act of the United States Congress that was intended to combat the paramilitary vigilantism of the Ku Klux Klan. The act made certain acts committed by private persons federal offenses including conspiring to deprive citizens of their rights to hold office, serve on juries, or enjoy the equal protection of law. The Act authorized the President to deploy federal troops to counter the Klan and to suspend the writ of habeas corpus to make arrests without charge.

The third of these acts, enacted in April 1871, gave the president the power to imprison people without a trial (known as suspending the writ of habeas corpus) and to use the federal military on domestic soil to enforce constitutional rights, among other measures.

Les Johnston argues that vigilantism has six necessary components:[5]

it is planned or premeditated.
it is carried out by private volunteers
it is a social movement
it involves or threatens the use of force
it occurs when established societal norms are perceived to be threatened
its primary goal is to enforce safety and security, especially to its participants, by combating crime

I would just love someone at the protest being arrested and the charge read in court of violating the Ku Klux Klan Act…. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
