TV watching can be very addictive, even beyond the “dopamine-pleasure” loop. Lots of escapism, identification with the people on the tube, etc. It would be better to take a walk, or work on a hobby than watch the games.

I was in arrogance in Nov 1999 when Minnesota kicked a last second FG to defeat #1, 9-0 NLions. Deafening silence! Not-so-Happy Valley.
Don’t think Penn won another game that year. Just checked, lost to #15, #16 then won Alamo bowl.

I was going by the only legible jersey: Worrilow - who’s apparently played for both those teams and a few more (he stood for the anthem).
When a player gets to make in one day what most people have to spend a year or more to earn it would behoove them to at least act as though they appreciate their good fortune and the fan’s support.
