I sure hope it's better than the stable condition they told us Charlie Kirk was in. Still a bit curious about that, as it was clear if you saw the video (don't do it if you haven't) that he was no way going to survive that for more than a minute or so, so why lie for an hour that he was okay?

I don’t know if it’s the case here. But sometimes the authorities will lie in hopes that the suspect will confess (if quickly caught).

As in, “Lucky for you that the victim is going to be okay. So it’s just simple assault. You might even get probation. Tell us what happened.”

I was watching Fox News, and no one even mentioned his condition for the first hour.

Fox never showed any graphic video while I watched.

For me, the un-natural silence meant he was Dead, or very close to Dead.

In such a situation, I think “serious but stable condition” is standard hospital boilerplate.
