Former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez was rushed to hospital with critical injuries in Indianapolis on Saturday morning after allegedly being stabbed in the chest during a dispute with a food delivery driver.
Police were called to downtown Indianapolis at around 12:30am following reports of a disturbance before finding two injured people, one of whom was Sanchez.
The 38-year-old, who was in town to cover Sunday's NFL game between the Colts and the Las Vegas Raiders as a commentator for Fox Sports, is now recovering at a local hospital in 'stable' condition, the network has announced.

Maybe the delivery guy brought up the 'butt fumble' and it escalated from there...
Hope he recovers fully.
I read about this somewhere. Maybe here.
Tip not good enough?
“Tip not good enough?”
What is the point of that stupid comment?
Oops, sounds like Sanchez may be in legal trouble.
I sure hope it's better than the stable condition they told us Charlie Kirk was in. Still a bit curious about that, as it was clear if you saw the video (don't do it if you haven't) that he was no way going to survive that for more than a minute or so, so why lie for an hour that he was okay?
Standard journal-ese put out before it's officially announced the subject has died?
Oh, boy. Something tells me this won’t end well for Sanchez. Why couldn’t it have been Greg Olsen? I can’t stand listening to that guy.
IMO, Charlie was dead before he fell over. That was a kill shot, no doubt about it.
Well with Charlie it was sable he was just dead
Can’t stand Olsen either!! Loves to hear himself talk.
Exactly. I get tired of listening to him dissect the last play while the next play is going on.
It sounds like Sanchez wasn’t the customer. Maybe delivery guy was blocking Sanchez’s vehicle?

As the old saying goes, nothing good happens after midnight.
PROBABLY NOT
ANCESTRY UNKNOWN

I don’t know if it’s the case here. But sometimes the authorities will lie in hopes that the suspect will confess (if quickly caught).
As in, “Lucky for you that the victim is going to be okay. So it’s just simple assault. You might even get probation. Tell us what happened.”
Guy gets put in hospital.
so,
Police take statement from the guy that put him there.
Then release that to the press.
Perhaps there is more to this story.
