ICE agents will be patrolling San Francisco during the Super Bowl in February, whether halftime performer Bad Bunny likes it or not.
Trump advisor Corey Lewandowski confirmed that the agents will have a presence at America's biggest event after the 31-year-old pop star snubbed the US during his tour over fears ICE would target fans outside his shows.
'It’s so shameful they picked someone who seems to hate America,' Lewandowski said.
'There is nowhere you can provide safe haven to people who are in this country illegally. Not the Super Bowl and no where else. We will find and deport you. That is a very real situation.'
Bad Bunny addressed his decision to make a sole mainland US appearance just moments before the NFL revealed he was playing the Super Bowl.
'I've been thinking about it these days, and after discussing it with my team, I think I'll do just one date in the United States,' the musician tweeted in Spanish.

Conservative podcaster Benny Johnson called Bad Bunny a 'massive Trump hater' and 'anti-ICE activist,' and criticized him for not singing in English.
Bad Bunny - real name Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio - spoke to Variety about the reason he didn't schedule any mainland US tour dates.
He cited the lengthy residency in Puerto Rico - a US territory - and the Trump Administration's increasing use of ICE agents as reasons why he wouldn't perform.

It’s the commercials paying for the show ...if the ratings during the segment is bad the network has to reimburse the advertiser because the guaranteed viewership which the advertiser paid for was not delivered. Counter programming is a very good idea.
A show which uses non copyrighted great football plays could be more attractive. Or a show about draft horses, or other animals might work, or a guns and ammo show, or a car show.
