Gambling in general, but particularly gambling on sports is a stain on the Sports world and the Country. It was all fine and good when we had Nevada for people to vacation to and have fun. Now every state has gambling. What was once verboten, sports betting, is now common. This puts a stain on the sport and the results. There is more money to be made on shaving points or fixing results, than the viewership of say the past.
My own 69 year old Brother who played football well, does not even watch games. He puts on NFL Networks where all games are played, and tracks his bets. That is not the love of the sport, it is a sports addiction.
We used to have a pool, where we picked winners and losers on a charted paper. The winner got the pot. It was all fun and games, nobody was taking a cut. It was just to see who was the best prognosticator. Now? People go to the Indian casinos, and give and take points, or play parleys, just like downtown Reno or Vegas.
I grew up loving sports, now you need a body condom to put up with the sewage.
Maybe he was ‘Batin’ Manning.
Manning is not MAGA-lite.

And I’m not giving Bud Light a pass.

I’m glad someone understands what I’m saying.
Betting addiction is real. I don’t think they should be actively promoting it, but they are. Money is their god.
