Spanish-language pop star and Trump critic Bad Bunny celebrated his selection as the Super Bowl halftime act by calling it a victory for 'my people, my culture, and our history' amid massive blowback from MAGA world.
The NFL surprised many by announcing Sunday night that the Puerto Rican musician was chosen to headline the highly-anticipated Super Bowl halftime show in California next February.
Bad Bunny — who sings all his songs in Spanish — has been critical of President Trump's immigration policies and recently admitted he refused to tour in the US over concerns that his fans would be targeted by ICE.

After the ad showing he was chosen for the half time show, I said out loud “What was that?!” Could even understand a word the guy said except for “uh”.

I recall EVERYONE switched over to watch their show. Which was when comedy shows were still funny. When the Wayan’s brothers and Jim Carey could make fun of gay guys and NOT BE WOKE.

Until patriotic Americans boycott not only the NFL but the rest of the alphabet league versions of sportsball, leftists like Goodell will continue their attempts to spread their poisonous ideology. Goodell is the son of a U.S. Senator from New York who, although Republican, was almost as liberal as Democrats like Ted Kennedy or Frank Church. The Goodells come from a long line of upstate New York and New England elite families, who have largely become liberal. The NFL and other professional sports teams are usually owned by billionaires who made their money elsewhere. The billionaire class largely supported Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, and Kamala Harris. However, they want their side businesses of sports franchises to make money. Until real Americans do not turn on their TVs or other streaming devices, the owners will not get the message.

Would Irsay have moved the Colts had the state not moved to seize the team? They left in the middle of the night because Irsay needed to establish the team’s legal domicile in Indiana before papers were served in the morning.
It’s been so long that I don’t remember the details. But I think Irsay was just another NFL owner playing shakedown games with the city, which is what most major league owners in all sports do routinely. That would have made him the black hat in my book. But I don’t know if the move to Indiana was locked in.
Then the socialist commissars tried to seize the team, and Irsay became the refugee escape artist.
I will generally side with the refugees against the commissars. I hope someone had the wit to give Irsay a John Galt Award.
Indianapolis and Indiana, of course, jumped on the opportunity. It has been an irritant in Indiana since forever that the Chicago, Cincinnatti, and St. Louis teams in several sports view Indiana as their marketing territory and systematically blocked expansion. Indiana had to steal the Colts and go the ABA route to get a professional basketball team. Indiana still needs to steal a baseball team somewhere. It should declare itself a sanctuary state for refugee franchises.
The Colts started in San Antonio, so Indiana wasn’t the first state to steal them away.
Baltimore blocked Washington for many years from getting a MLB team after the Senators left. But at this point, I don’t know why anyone would want to stay in Baltimore. Maybe Trump should order the Navy to move the Constellation to Norfolk.

I stopped watching the NFL following their reaction to George Floyd’s overdose.
I actually watched a couple games this year hoping they’ve moved on.
The NFL obviously doesn’t want people like me watching their games. I’ll comply.
