LOL!

That was my biggest gripe about Radio Shack. You go would in to buy a 50 cent item, like a battery, and they would demand your name, address, and phone number.

I did not know Radio Shack still even existed.

Last time I was there, I bought a pack of "AAA" batteries.

They had me fill out a complicated 4-ply carbon copy form with an ink pen. I had to provide my full mailing address and phone number so that I could get their catalogs and telemarketing calls. <>P Canary copy went to corporate, yellow copy was kept at the store, white copy went who knows where, and the pink copy went to me as a receipt.
