The United States is considering Ukraine's request to obtain long-range Tomahawk missiles for its effort to push back against Russian invaders, Vice President JD Vance said on Sunday.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has asked the United States to sell Tomahawks to European nations that would send them to Ukraine. Vance said on “Fox News Sunday” that U.S. President Donald Trump would make the "final determination" on whether to allow the deal.

"We're certainly looking at a number of requests from the Europeans," Vance said.

Tomahawk missiles have a range of 2,500 km (1,550 miles), and would be a powerful asset in Ukraine's arsenal as it fights back against regular barrages of Russian missile and drone attacks.

Another escalation. I thought trump was going to get us out of endless foreign wars.

Escalation? Russia already spams similar stuff at Ukraine. The Special Military Operation has already escalated this far.

Besides, we're not even in this war, and all this would be is us selling military equipment to Europeans.

Ukraine should have been settled short of war. The corruption won, for now.

Yea, well, that option fell off the table when Putin decided to surprise Special Military Operation the Ukraine.

“let’s take out Russias gasoline and oil infrastructure”
***********************************

So you think Russia is just going to sit back and take it without responding in kind? I wouldn’t count on that.

What else is Russia going to do? They already spam missiles and drones on civilian infrastructure.. They're already trying to take out all of Ukraine's power and oil!

Big difference. Russia isn’t launching missiles at the United States. We will be launching missiles at the Russian homeland.

I understand. I’m almost 75 and can’t express myself or get things across as well as I used to.

Yes, it’s a serious situation and could easily get out of hand.

The Bedford Incident is a very good movie and a good reminder...thanks for that.

Regards-
