United States Vice President JD Vance called on Russia on Sunday to adhere to President Donald Trump's request and "sit at the negotiating table" on the conflict in Ukraine.
Speaking to Fox News, Vance insisted that Russia is not making any gains on the battlefield and is only provoking losses in human lives.

As long as the war goes on, Vladimir Putin is in charge. The moment it ends, the wartime economy collapses*, and nothing says regime change like a collapsed economy.
* This economic hit has happened to practically every wartime economy in history. It will be particularly brutal in Russia as it will hit their currency, their civilian economy and much of the non-war industries which might have provided employment have collapsed. And nobody will invest in Russia for a long, long time to come.

Russia's going to lose and collapse, and Ukraine is going to win and prosper. So it has been said. And if not, well, like climate change and the next pandemic and Russia invading Germany, I dont invest much energy in predicting zero ice at the North Pole and stuff like that.
