Sad ironies, given Dearborn's storied history.
The Detroit suburb of Dearborn, Michigan, sports a population of about 100,000 people.
It’s the birthplace of Henry Ford and the longtime world headquarters of the Ford Motor Company.
Per the 2020 census, slightly more than half of its population is of North African or Middle Eastern ancestry, the highest percentage of Muslim residents in the United States. Its current mayor, Democrat Abdullah Hammoud, is a Muslim who was born in Dearborn.
As I noted in an earlier piece, a Christian minister named Ted Barham recently showed up at a City Council meeting to protest the renaming of two intersections in honor of Osama Siblani, a local journalist … and supporter of terrorism.
According to reporting from Fox News and The Blaze: Barham cited articles in which Siblani had written that “the blood of the martyrs irrigates the land of Palestine” and opined that everyone should fight within his means, including “with stones, others … with guns, others … with planes, drones, and rockets.”
Barham understandably stated: “I feel like having that sign up there is almost like naming a street Hezbollah Street or Hamas Street.”
The Dishonorable Mayor proceeded to call Barham a “bigot,” a “racist,” and an “Islamophobe. He added: “Although you live here, I want you to know as mayor, you are not welcome here. And the day you move out of the city will be the day that I launch a parade celebrating the fact that you moved out of this city.”
Hammoud’s new campaign video is subtitled in Arabic. For that matter, so is most of Dearborn.

Agreed. Or another way to put it: moderate Muslims don't want to kill you. They support the radical Muslims that do.
Help, Pres. Trump.
Let’s develop an immigration policy of who we want and need in this country. I’m thinking that muslims should be excluded from that group. Great Britain is a perfect example of what we do not want to become.
Yes
Yes, very familiar with that area. My mom (RIP) worked for a doctor in that area. Cousins lives near there.
Dearborn is not the canary in the coal mine - it is a malignant cancer that will spread and kill if not contained.
there are no deer in Dearborn Michigan deer are born up in the hills....
I can’t live in Dearborn because it’s full of lousy stinking Musdslimes.
(The first line is from a popular WJR platter from the folks who gave us Winchester Cathedral.)
There are areas in Dearborn that don’t resemble America but more like a North African dump. Muslims cannot assimilate.
A cartoon showing an Arab child and his father strolling along dressed in Arab garb.
Child: Father why do we wear these long gowns?
Father: to protect us against the blistering blowing desert sands and the searing heat of the desert.
Child: then what the hell are we doing in Dearborn, Michigan?

Mexican immigrants are overwhelmingly conservative Catholics. When in the US they move in the direction of right wing Pentecostals.
In contrast other Latin immigrants are not overwhelmingly anything. Dominicans have a large percentage of Ben Carson style Seventh Day Adventists. Honduras, El Salvador have a mix including liberal Catholics. But all are better than ISLAMISTS.
non-Chinese Asians are a mix of Bhuddist (like Tulsi Gabbard), Hindu (like Kash Patel), Muslim, Christian and other.
Immigration policy should look at the individual, but knowing the odds of each nationality. Once here
1) No immigrant, not naturalized citizen, legal or illegal, should apply for, nor accept Medicaid, food stamps, TANF, WIC, etc. No immigrant should come here for welfare.
2) If an immigrant is drunk and disorderly or Drives DUI, or anything more serious, he should be flagged undesireable and deported. (I would not deport for a single parking ticket).
3) Local authorities should be empowered to deport undesireables as they did pre-Nixon.
4) It is a PRIVILEGE to be in the US. It is not a RIGHT. When a person is removed from the US, his PRIVILEGE is removed. His RIGHTs need not be and best not be touched.
We're going to find out, sooner or later,
If Abdullah will pray, to a smoking crater.
If you watch the whole spiel of the muslim mayor you may get the impression I did that there might be something personal going on between these two. More later...
How this can even be permitted in America is beyond me.
"I did that! I know you all wanna blame Clinton or Obama but really, it was me!"
Get out of my country! And take your filthy death cult with you.
At about 4:20 mayor goes on about how Edward "Ted" Barham said on youtube "the cruelest of things about muslims", but I haven't found anything on that.
For those who don't know, my Mom grew up in Dearborn, I've lived in an adjacent town for more than 40 years. I'm involved in a number of groups and activities that are in Dearborn. So it's kind of personal with me.
Wrong analogy. We would be so lucky if that dump suffocated.
Back in the 1970’s we used to call Dearborn, “Little Beirut” partly because it was said that the arch terrorist from the Lebanese terror group “AMAL”,Nebegh Beri, his wife and child ran away from war-torn Lebanon to Dearborn.
There were of course many Arabs including Iraqi Christians called “Chaldeans”, we called them “Camel Jockeys” because very few people respected them.
Now they are n the march with clear goal, taking over one county at a time, then a country.
I believe that there is but a small difference between Muslims that do or do not try to kill you.
One is content to bide his/her time. The other one is not.
