“Trusted source of news about Ukraine’’.
Hey ‘mom: We’re not interested. You’ve beaten this horse to death.
Shut up or start your own site.
‘We’re not interested’
Very odd response. You chose this post. And, you made the choice to actually engage by commenting on this thread.
Please, just stop punishing yourself.
No one will think the less of you.
Everyone doesn’t have to like every forum or every article topic.
Just have a good day :)
You were told to stop doing this, you complied for some period of time and now you're back and I'm not the only one to express this disappointing sentiment.
The owner of this website has been gracious to you and you've taken advantage of that graciousness. I've no further desire to interact with you. You're irredeemable.
“I’m not the only one to express this disappointing sentiment.”
I have never ended sharing information and sources.
I know for a fact some are annoyed that am a loyal Freeper. More then once they have expressed this opinion.
However, I remain am compliant and respectable to all that express their opinions. I deeply appreciate Free REpublic inclusive of the various forums and PINGS.
Just accept me as someone that holds differing opinions sometimes.
Indeed. And those changes are likely to continue, best I can tell. For this, I found the Więckowski most interesting.

Lots of myths about Russia. Russia didn’t win WW II, America did. It was B-17 bombers that crushed German might. Without the bombing of Germany and all the stuff sent to Russia via Alaska—Stalin would have lost in 1944. Our D-Day invasion did more damage to Germany than Russia’s attacks. If the bombers didn’t rip the guts out of German factories they would have made enough tanks to crush the Soviets. Japan stabbed Hitler in the back by NOT declaring war on Russia and closing her ports in the pacific for America’s flood of goods. We won with sheer numbers. Germany should have crushed Russia like Ukraine is crushing Russia today. Germany should be ashamed that Russia beat them with their commissars and illiterate peasants.

Random data is researched and presented to imply profiteering. Interestingly, some other information is sadly neglected. This information has been shared regarding other Ukrainian sources as well.

You’re preaching to the choir, FRiend.
The Russians sure love to think they won the war entirely.
“The Great Patriotic War For The MotherLand!’’.
Murdering Bolsheviks always seem to gloss over the 1939 to 1941 honeymoon with Hitler until Adolf decided he didn’t need a partner anymore.
I don’t know how I ended up on this ping list, but I told you in your PM to me I don’t want any part of this.
A good book is by Timothy Snyder “The reconstruction of nations: Poland, Lithuania Ukrainie and Belarus 1569-1999)”
Or, another one I am currently reading on another part of the world: Sam Dalrymple The five partitions of India and the makings of South Asia
That alone surely makes the point, considering that more lands will be shattered as the decades and centuries go along.
Here's a very new YouTube of the author making a presentation to the British Library, re: Jaipur Literature Festival. The video is about an hour long.
Fascinating.

Surely "shattered lives" speaks to so much, then, now and surely tomorrow.
The Yale University Press book from 2008 looks like quite a "read." A wee sample I looked through seems that one theme is that of language groups contesting, which reminded me of another parallel theme by Toynbee, so I went looking for that as well.
Here's a 30-minute interview from 1955, with a similar theme about the greater frame of history and historical themes which we've brought up.

Stay safe. Enjoy your reading.
Thank you for your response.
Apoloogy! Sorry this happened.

However, do not worry! You’re not on my current ping list.
I did notice you have been on FR since 2004. I can only guess that your log-in was retrieved with another Freeper in order to receive this PM.
This PM was in response to a request for an additional source for article on: OSCE findings on Russia’s abuse of Ukrainian POWs.
