Sergei Aksyonov, the head of Russia-controlled Crimea, said on Thursday that disruptions in fuel supplies were related to the closure of some oil refineries as a gasoline crisis widened across Russia.
Several Russian regions were seeing shortages of certain fuel grades as Ukrainian drone attacks have reduced refinery runs, while high borrowing costs mean private filling stations can't afford to stockpile fuel, traders and retailers said.
"Due to the fact that some of the plants are physically not working, we have experienced problems and interruptions with fuel," Aksyonov said on a video posted on his Telegram channel, without saying the plants were attacked by Ukrainian drones.
There were no large queues forming at fuel stations, but certain grades of gasoline are frequently absent.
"Within two days, gasoline stations are expected to be supplied with the required amount of Ai 95 gasoline. The availability of Ai 92 gasoline will be resolved within two weeks," he said.
Russian Deputy Energy Minister Pavel Sorokin said on Tuesday that further restrictions on fuel exports were possible if needed, the Interfax news agency reported.

It is wise to shut down your hurt fuel supply until it heals.
One of the unwritten rules of Russia life is the rich and connected rule, and those in power take care of the citizens, and ordinary citizens stay out of politics. Russians are willing to put up with a lot, 1 to 2 million having left the country, another million dead or wounded if they think they are getting something worthwhile out of it. A two year stalemate, gas lines and rising prices means they are not getting their due for what they have given up.
So who should Putin worry about, Russian shills in the western information space, or his own citizens changing their views of his leadership? Russians tend to be harsh when their leaders fail.

“Hey, marcus, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know.”
War is hell on refineries, the Russian’s due to the communists war on Ukraine, and in California the refineries are being taken out due the democrat communist’s war on Californians.
Russians tend to be harsh when their leaders fail.

Ukrainians tend to be harsh when their leaders fail….1.5 million dead Ukrainians, a totally destroyed infrastructure, devastation in every sector…..I fully expect St Z to receive the “ Mussolini “ treatment when all is said and done.
It must be nice to have access to thin air but I would caution you not to breathe in too much.

Russian Forces Completely Outflank Ukrainian Defenses Giving Major Advantage
President Trump just now at the White House:
“I’m not going to ever call anybody a paper tiger, but Russia spent millions and millions of dollars in bombs, missiles, ammunition and lives, their lives, and they’ve gained virtually no land.”
Also not impressive when Russian field medicine for wounded is a bullet in the head or self-deletion by hand grenade.
Other than that, the Russians have failed miserably.
Russia’s economy is going to hell - Trump
“They have put it all out on the line. Their economy is going to hell. They’re bombing the hell out of everything,” he said.
The US president also noted that Russian forces are capturing very little territory, if they are capturing any at all.
“In fact, they’re losing some territory. So, I think it’s been very bad for the reputation of Russia. This war should have been over. If this were our war, we would have had it over in one week,” he emphasized.

I’m not surprised that you’re too stupid to understand what Trump is doing — he’s saying that things are going soooo well for Ukraine that the EU can takeover responsibility for the war without our help.
