Always liked Petraeus. He proved that entrapment still works.
IMHO

It is an ugly thing showing its head now. Might as well have a memorial for bin Laden. /sarc /ugly-sarc

probably discussing a two state solution, that actually ends up to be a one-californiate solution. (added a few letters there to throw off derp stazi)

Raging egomaniac, convinced that truth was whatever served his interests and that the rules didn’t apply to him.

Well-deserved comeuppance, when karma came to call.

Syria has just announced Israel is no longer an enemy and will seek greater ties.

--- "one-californiate solution"

That's so funny in a number of ways, thinking of Gavin bin Grifting and all.

Compare and contrast: California's bankrupt with a $611 billion state debt, while Gaza has bupkus. The Hamas top leadership is living in luxury elsewhere, whereas the Democrat leadership is still fleecing Californnians and so will be leaving a little later.....

Petraeus close relationship with Turkish officials during his tenure at CIA, and the mysterious flights of his unmarked CIA plane to Ankara and other Middle East sites has never been explained.

So Isis is OK again? They probably really appreciate that we flew top cover for them.

I wonder how much direct coordination Petraeus’ CIA had with Sharaa during the Syrian civil war? Probably a lot. Petraeus was one of the primary architects of that conflict, meant to overthrow Assad and eject Russia in order to build pipelines between Qatar and Turkey, breaking Russia’s control of European energy. Instead, the war took hundreds of thousands of lives, caused a massive humanitarian catastrophe, and sent millions of refugees into Europe and Turkey. Between GW Bush’s Iraq disaster and Obama’s bloody “Arab Spring” in North Africa and Syria, we sure have screwed that region up. The flood of refugees and islamists destroying Europe is just collateral damage.

Thanks for the comment. It rolls off the tongue so naturally.

My FIL was a christian from the plains of Mosul since Ottoman names. He said a lot about The Caliph and Caliphate. The bad guys are very serious about it. In their sayings, there are only two houses - The House of “I Submit” and the House of War. There is no House of Peace.

We need Spain, Portugal, Austria, Poland, Greeks and Italians (and even the crumbling UK) to remember what it took to prevent and also knock down the historical Californiates that promised A House of War - and the Good Men of the West were up for the challenge. (nod to Aragorn)
