The new ePass system at Arrowhead Union High School, located in a suburb of Milwaukee, functions as an electronic hall pass that students must use to take bathroom breaks during school hours.
Students are restricted to three bathroom visits per day and seven total visits per week.

“This is a high school. If it’s like my high school, the bell would ring and you’d have several minutes to get to your next class, generally with enough time to use the bathroom in between. I don’t ever recall needing to leave a class on session to use the bathroom as I was always able to take care of whatever business I needed to between classes.”
Yep. Not sure if i ever left a class to go to the bathroom in high school.
Back in the day, almost no one in HS needed breaks during classtime.
“You have to remember that these are the same goons that are spewing bile about Charlie Kirk.”
How many should students be allowed?
IBTG
IBTS
Funny, we managed to use the can between classes and at lunch without all the drama.
A book on a different topic had an aside where the author said at all baseball and football games there is a short line at the women’s restrooms to get in but always long, long lines at the men’s rooms. He attributes it to aging prostate glands.
But also diabetes causes that.
And four cups of coffee when you wake up.
Leftover from the Reagan years....
the trickle down effect.
Sorry if that is your world. I don’t think one can be prepared for having a call of nature and not being allowed to evacuate.
I think I might have asked for a hall pass to hit the bathroom once in my entire high school and junior high time in school
7 times a week? What’s up with that
I was on huge doses of torsemide in high school. I had a special hall pass to allow me to just get up and leave any time I wanted.
One dump under a staircase or bagged and locked in an unused locker and this policy is going to end.
I could understand “during class”; I have recollection of rarely leaving class to use the restroom.
But during ‘school hours’? And with a couple of Red Bulls?
smh
Students should declare themselves Muslim for their 5 prayer breaks per day.
Public schools are prisons.
The ones who identify as cats can use the litter boxes inside the classrooms.
Everyone remember the old classroom book drop or pencil drop where the entire class would do it at once?
How about a piss drop? An entire class standing and peeing all at once. lol
I mean really, do schools have a full time position who sits around thinking up these ludicrous ideas?
That “Depends”
“And four cups of coffee when you wake up.”
I used to do the four cups of coffee. Now it is one high test and one half caffeine. When we hit a certain age, things start going.
What about those that have UTI’s….or will develop UTI’s because of this? I’m guessing that the trashcans are going to start being receptacles for more than trash.
