A lot of people tell me Tylenol doesn’t work for them.
A lot of people take Tylenol like tic-tacs. Too much will destroy your liver-especially if you are a drinker.
All medications have side effects.
That’s quite different from making a health warning about it.
It doesn’t work for me, nor does advil. Aspirin is a superior product to me.
I’ve been in the hospital several times in last ten years. They always push Tylenol, it does nothing for me.
I’m one. A glass of water with Tylenol or a glass of water alone both give me no pain killing results.
Tylenol is around for people like me who have a blood pressure pill or another Rx pill that says to refrain from Advil and Motrin or Aleve.
Thank goodness I can still take aspirin.
Acetaminophen works fairly well for me on bad headaches, less well on pain involving inflammation.
Ibuprofen works better for me on pain involving inflammation, and usually well on headaches. Ibu has more potential negative effects (at least for me, an old guy), but both can be harmful to the digestive system in high & sustained doses. Both sometimes cause me upset stomach if taken without food. I’m pretty sure the (mostly Acetaminophen) my Mom took to relieve joint pain when we HAD to cut back the opioids (she was becoming very “fuzzy” on “medium” doses of Norco) contributed to her digestive system problems. But, at some point there are no good alternatives - you just pick the one with hopefully the best cost to risk ratio.
