“Standing up for the values of justice, equity, and our shared humanity has never been more important, and yet Ben & Jerry’s has been silenced, sidelined for fear of upsetting those in power,” Greenfield said in the statement. “And it’s happening at a time when our country’s current administration is attacking civil rights, voting rights of immigrants, women, and the LGBTQ community.”
Why do Socialists have such a long shelf life? Ugh!
Only CITIZENS can vote!!!!
“””“Standing up for the values of justice, equity, and our shared humanity has never been more important,”””””
Shut up and make ice cream.
I have never tasted this product due to the babbling of this guy.
He sold out his brand for the big bucks. The Unilever would rather make money selling product than lose money to “virtue signaling”.
I’ll probably depart this Earth never having tasted their ice cream.
There’s something about those two that rubs me the wrong way.
Easy fix. Hire another Jerry.
B&J’s newest flavor is “Dorkbamastuff”. Wanna guess the smell and taste?

I hear he’s got a new flavor.........DEI dark chocolate w/ vanilla ripple.
boo boo hoo
Net worth approx $150 million:
Cohen and co-founder Jerry Greenfield started Ben & Jerry’s in 1978 with a $12,000 investment.
The company grew rapidly, reaching $30 million in annual revenue by 1987 and $150 million by 1994.
In 2000, Unilever acquired Ben & Jerry’s for $326 million in cash.
At the time of the acquisition, Cohen reportedly received a payout of around $41 million for his stake in the company, while Greenfield received about $9.5 million.
Since the Unilever sale, Cohen has retained an employment relationship and continues to receive a salary, although he has no operational or managerial duties.
Ben & Jerry’s currently generates roughly $700 million in annual revenue, but the salaries paid to Cohen and Greenfield by Unilever have not been publicly detailed. Estimates suggest these are symbolic and not executive-level, as they remain as figureheads and advisors.
Current Salary unknown
Get rid of Ben as well, then maybe you’ll sell more.
There is *nothing* worse than a rich Socialist
When you sell your business you kind of lose control of what the new owner can do, and the only reason these two socialists were brand managers is because it somehow through sales put money in their pockets. Dear Ben and Jerry GFOAD already.
Two more self loathing jews.
Stupid ass doesn’t understand that Unilever bought their company to make money and not as a social experiment.
“... and yet Ben & Jerry’s has been silenced, sidelined for fear of upsetting those in power,”
But they were just fine take the zillions when they sold their company to “those in power”.
Self serving hypocrites!
Many, many years ago I worked for a bank in New England. At one time our commerical guys were trying to land the B&J account. They met with the senior leadership of our bank. They brought with them a list of requirements to get their business. While most of the requirements were just good financial and transactional things they had a bunch of political things they wanted. It included things like “not doing business with Company A B or C; or other companies who did business in certain countries.”
Since a couple of our clients were defense contractors we would have had to cut ties with customers we had been doing business with for literally decades.
The President of our bank asked if they were serious. They assured us that even though we could save them a lot of cash on their transactional business, they were quite serious about their political needs.
Thankfully, the President of our bank said, “Eff that” and walked out of the meeting.
I was a littler surprised at that because our bank President tended to be all about revenue. He showed me that loyalty to long time customers was always critical t your business.
Since that day, no B&J ice cream has passed my lips. And I liked their ice cream. But they are just ass holes in real life.
Happy to take the money, though.
