One thing that stood out as weird that this guy didn’t note is that Robinson said he changed his outfit. What guy says that at 22?

Changing clothes implies the "lover" knew what he was wearing....when he walked out of the apartment several hours earlier...with gun wrapped in a towel.

Where was the lover at the time of these texts.

I'll say it again...if he knew about the cartridges, he knew about the gun. Nothing else makes sense.

Why would a clothes change even be relevant to the lover? I think it is possible the limping guy, going through the neighborhood was the lover, taking the gun to Robinson, already setup at the building, they were dressed identically.
