More than 100 Texas educators are now facing the end of their teaching careers after posting vile, hateful, and violent content celebrating the assassination of conservative leader Charlie Kirk.
Governor Greg Abbott announced on Sunday that the Texas Education Agency (TEA) has begun investigations into teachers who cheered Kirk’s murder and even incited additional violence online.
Abbott confirmed that these educators will not only have their teaching certifications suspended but will also be permanently barred from working in Texas public schools.
In a strongly worded letter to superintendents, TEA Commissioner Mike Morath condemned the educators’ despicable behavior, noting that such conduct may constitute violations of the Educators’ Code of Ethics.
He confirmed that all documented cases have been referred to TEA’s Educator Investigations Division.

Teachers celebrating campus shooting is not acceptable.
I’m stuck in a hospital waiting room today and being forced to listen to the View They are babbling about how people can say anything they want. First Amendment guarantees it and all that. Hate filled skanks.
Good. However, the real problem is not with the one hundred or so teachers who cheered Charlie Kirk’s murder, but with the thousands of teachers who hold similar views and are not prone to spew their opinions on social media.
We need a complete purge of Democrats from all institutions.
Hurray for Texas. Teachers should be teaching kiddos the Three “Rs” ... not proper pronouns, gender identity or who should be assassinated next.
I was wondering why I received and email from my district yesterday.
These are, most likely, liberal women. Their thinking doesn’t take them that far. Their ‘feelings’ tell them a ‘bad person’ was killed and it made them celebrate. End of thinking.
Our schools are full of them.
We have reached the precipice of morality.
Left:
- all sexual acts are ok
- killing the unborn should be celebrated
- disagree and be murdered, “you had it coming”, celebrate the murder.
Right: 10 Commandments
Could it be any more clear at this point?
At all!
This will put the fear of God into a lot of people.
A very good start.

Loud and clear!
Good.
Very good.

Except, apparently, Charlie Kirk.
Main stream Americans must recognize that educational institutions have been ignored and allowed to fall under the control of the worst leftist for three generations starting with John Dewey.
Likewise, journalism. Broadcasting, seminaries, law schools, trade unions, civil service and coutless niches have become the levers to destroy our culture and nation.
I guarantee you, I would not be forced to watch the View in the hospital waiting room. I’m not prone to acting like a crazy Karen, but I would make an exception in that case. That program and those women are absolutely reprehensible. It has no place spewing its hateful content on a captured audience. Put a stop to it. It’s this “go along to get along” behavior that has brought our country to the breaking point. People have viciously crossed a red line on freedom of speech. Citizens who want to live in a civil society need to take harsh corrective action to eradicate this behavior.
Most of the time such suspensions are limited to just their school district. Even egregious examples are limited to their state. This came to light because teachers who were sex offenders would just hopscotch to a different place and offend again. And again. And again. Out of sight, out of mind.
But this batch have been banned in Texas. So many of them will flee to other states and start preaching radicalism and violence again.
Incitement to violence is not protected speech and there are legal consequences.
