The FBI is now investigating a potential accomplice in the assassination of Charlie Kirk amid the finding of video footage that appears to show the suspect talking to somebody through a doorbell camera in the neighborhood near the crime scene.
Kirk was murdered in a horrific public assassination at Utah Valley University while hosting an event on his “ask me anything” tour on Wednesday.
Following a roughly 33-hour manhunt, the shooter was found after the father of 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, who engraved ammunition casings with Antifa slogans, turned his son in to authorities.
The revelation of a new accomplice comes after Utah Governor Spencer Cox, on Friday, during a press conference that Robinson had sent messages to his roommate.
According to Governor Cox, the messages stated “a need to retrieve a rifle from a drop point, leaving the rifle in a bush, [and] messages related to visually watching the area where a rifle was left, and a message referring to having left the rifle wrapped in a towel… The messages also referred to engraving bullets and a mention of a scope and the rifle being unique. Messages from the contact, Tyler, also mentioned that he had changed outfits.”
However, he later told reporters, “We do not at this time have any information that would lead to any additional arrests,” and that he believes Robinson acted alone.
Does anybody really believe this?

He may have had help but there is no basis for demeaning the governor who has stood up and done a great job.

In the USA, available to everyone over 18 who does not have a criminal record or who has not been adjudged to be mentally unfit to own firearms.
Could have been purchased from a private party. Legal over most the USA for most of the history of the USA. Cost of the rifle is within the reach of any employed person. Probably less than $600, including some ammunition.

Well, it’s Utah so if he bought it (versus an accomplice) it would be easy for him to do.
Why would he engrave the ammo and rifle if he was only going to have a pal collect it?
He could have engraved the stuff any time he wanted if that was the case.
I think he acted alone. IF he had help, it was beyond a crappy two person plan.
I believe people want to see some group involved because that will satisfy their drama-mystery craving.
I have seen a dozen or so mentions on X of Kirk’s security detail, only one was declared by people to be some signaler to the shooter. Pure BS. He’s former SF. I think it’s Mike Glover that was trying to do analysis of the shot, and when going over the video and explaining possible ballistics, said he worked with the guy in Iraq.
People just make up whatever floats their boat these days.
