Where did they find the gun?
The smartest thing to do is to abandon your weapons. It is my understanding that professional hitman often leave their weapons behind, because the weapons were made untraceable and it’s a liability to carry them.
They traced his movements based on camera footage and found the gun in a field off campus. But I didn’t hear if they found it in two pieces.
In a wooded are they saw him run to. There's a roof top video following him from the initial roof, to the road and the woods beyond.

yep.
1- it’s a hindrance to escape/evasion in an urban or wooded environment
2- it draws attention
3- they’re cheap enough from estate/yard sales to be disposable
4- they’re old enough there’s not likely to be any serial number records - non-traceable
5- the shooter and his team WANTED to leave multiple messages (the marked up ammo, the gun itself reinforces the left’s “Its EZ to buy a SNIPER rifle!” hysteria)
that in seconds from my pre-caffeinated 0530 HRS brain.
I’m sure I can come up with a lot more in a few minutes. How about you?
