Exactly. Private organization events don’t rate taxpayer funded security. This will make it much harder for conservative speakers to book college venues in the future. The colleges will probably require high level security 100% paid by the guest organization.

If adequate security was unaffordable, the event should have been smaller, and held indoors.

Pay for it?
A hobbyist, or kid with a drone would have done it for fifty bucks. Who are you kidding?
There’s a million people with drones out there, just wishing someone would ask them to use it for something like this.
