More personal details are being shared about the woman who was stabbed to death in an apparently random attack on a light-rail train in Charlotte, North Carolina.
-snip-
While living in the Charlotte area, Ferguson said the college graduate worked at a pizza restaurant, took care of animals, helped at a senior citizen center and rode that same train often.
“The first day she was allowed to work, she got a work permit here, she got a job the very first day,” Ferguson described.
According to Barnacle, the Ukrainian embassy offered to help bring Zarutska’s body back to the European country, but her mother and uncle said she will remain in the U.S.
“She loved America. We’re going to bury her here,” the family told Barnacle

The contrast between the victim and the killer could not be more stark.
She represented the best vision of America - a place where people could come legally in hopes of a better life. Giving credit for the best intentions of those who favored our support of Ukraine, it was to allow Ukrainians like her to have that kind of life without leaving their homeland.
The evil criminal psychopath who ended that life for no reason is representative of all the bad ideas liberals have forced into our society. Everything from cashless bail to allowing the “unhoused” to make public areas unsafe to acceptance of all manner if perversity as normal - this thug is who the left fights for - never their victims. They also have opposed capital punishment, which is exactly what this murderer deserves.
Not sure if this is common knowledge, but she was a BLM supporter.
She obviously isn’t a BLM supporter anymore
Condolences to family and friends of Iryna Zarutska.
We saw the BLM poster in her room in the photo yesterday. Me, I just have to note the bitter irony and leave it at that. Poor girl
What the hell possible relevance could that have that you felt compelled to post that?
I saw a comment somewhere addressing this and they said it was based on a picture that someone took of a random room showing BLM posters on her walls but no evidence it was her actual room. I’m just repeating a comment so I don’t know beyond that. Thought I would throw that out there.
She died because of imaginary grievances he thought he had. Here is hoping the state executes his sorry ass.
“She was sweet, the whole neighborhood loved her. She did a lot of pet sitting for neighbors, she was a good, sweet person,” said the neighbor, who asked to remain anonymous, adding that her father couldn’t attend the funeral because he’s eligible to be drafted into the war against Russia.
I don’t know where this case is going, but Iryna’s brutal murder carries with it such an extreme high level of karma that it will forevermore seal the fate of the Democratic Party nothing more than an evil corrupt enterprise. I believe I heard this correctly this morning that the ‘judge’ in the last killer’s court case was not even a lawyer.
Perfectly said. Thank you.
Yes, could be very true.
“””That Zelensky sure is a little mean prick”””
I think President Trump needs to contact Mini Z and set him straight.
Even if those allegations are true, she was young and impressionable and the woke scumbags vigorously push that garbage. That poor girl’s blood is on the “woke movement’s” hands as much as it is on Decarlos’s.
God rest Iryna’s soul and comfort her loved ones.
I hate Democrats, all of them. The Democrats who aren’t human garbage are complicit. I’m very pessimistic about the future of our country. Dems have very rich backers, and ongoing indoctrination factories, (schools), churning out masses of dangerous idiots.
You know this, how?
Between the video evidence and his own admission caught in the audio, this perp should have been tried and executed before sundown.
