I have often wondered what 20th Century history would have looked like if Hitler had restrained himself and not declared war on the USA in December 1941.
Without a two front war to worry about, the Germans would have fought Stalin and the USSR to a stalemate, on Russian territory, even against massive USA logistic assistance.
On the other hand, I some what accept the theory that Hitler was ultimately motivated by his psychopathic Jew Hatred.
No telling where that compulsion might have eventually led him.
