There is no horror movie that involves Christ that could be considered appropriate. There is lots of other material that could be used in the Bible and it would be fine.
Like the story of Judges 19-21, for example.

There is not one author of the new testament that was there when Jesus was born or can attest to anything that occurred in that time period. All the stories in that time period is nothing more than projection .
