Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson is being widely criticized on social media for claiming he has doubts that Iran-backed Hamas was anything more than a “political organization.”
Israel has stepped up its campaign to wipe out Hamas from Gaza ever since Oct. 7, 2023, when Hamas attacked an Israeli music festival, killing at least 1,200 and taking some 250 hostages.
Recently, Israel struck Gaza’s only Catholic church, killing three people. The Israelis said they were investigating the incident, however, Carlson claimed the Israeli Defense Forces were exhibiting “self-destructive behavior” by shelling churches, whether intentionally or not.
In his latest podcast, Carlson said:
No one can possibly claim that a Christian family are in Hamas. OK, so what, tell me — You can’t claim they’re in Hamas while simultaneously claiming that Hamas is a group of jihadis. They’re Islamist extremists, which they also claim. Constantly. I don’t know if that’s true, by the way. Seems more like a political organization. But whatever it is, they’re telling us constantly that they’re Al-Qaeda. So, it can’t also be true that Christians are a member of Al-Qaeda. So, then, we know they’re not in Hamas, so why did they get killed?
Once a conservative darling, Carlson has been viewed with increasing suspicion since his termination from Fox News. He now runs his own podcast, The Tucker Carlson Show.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) expressed his frustrations with Carlson, posting to X, “Now, @TuckerCarlson doesn’t know if Hamas is a terrorist organization. (‘Elmo is just asking questions….’) What the hell happened to Tucker?? He’s turning into Ilhan Omar.”
Mark Levin, who once worked with Carlson at Fox News and isn’t a fan, took to calling his nemesis, “Qatarlson.”
“Qatarlson doesn’t know if Hamas is a terrorist group,” Levin posted.
Seth Dillon with the satirical Babylon Bee got serious when he posted, “Qatar, Iran, and Tucker Carlson say Hamas is just a political group — not a radical Islamist terrorist organization.”
Dillon’s post included the “Ideology and Goals” of Hamas that included “jihad as its path” and “‘Death for the sake of Allah’ as its highest aspiration.”
IMHO...there’s a campaign against Tucker and Candice to get conservatives against them.
I don’t believe for a millisecond that Tucker is a Muslim convert. I don’t believe he’s for Islam at any level.
I believe that both their successes have made them targets by other right-wing voices, there’s a lot of money involved.
We should be more cautious, I’d like to think Freepers would see through this.

We really need to be more careful in accepting talking heads who say the words we want to hear.
I have to correct you. MAGA is not a conservative movement.
RFK Jr, Tulsi Gabbard, Elon Musk, etc are not conservatives.
MAGA is a populist movement.
But there are some conservatives on the Trump Train.

I ignore almost ALL talking heads.
I cut the cable in 2016 and therefore the only cable news channel stuff I'm exposed to comes by way of uploads on You Tube which I rarely click on.
As far as podcasts go I don't listen or watch any political podcasts but I will listen infrequently listen to sports podcasts.
I do click on Mark Halpern from time to time who is no conservative, but spends as much time covering Elite Stream Media coverage of politics as he does covering politics which I find somewhat interesting.

I doubt there is one person on the thread who watched the interview or read the transcript of the show. This is being taken out of context.
His frustration is with the Israeli government not fully explaining the bombing of the Christian Church and how it happened. Ambassador Huckabee asked for an investigation but there was no follow-up just a we’re sorry it happened.
The Gazans are not killing, raping, starving and torturing Jews to please God.
The Gazans are unhappy about having lost a war and a lot of land in 1948.
Well, he might need to do some better research. The politics of Hamas are terrorism against Israel and anyone who supports Israel. So that’s the kind of political organization they are.

Tucker Qatarlson the new conservative clown show. Half of his public displays of innovative, maverick, independent thinking are done for internet fame and clicks. You must be provocative to be noticed. Candace Owens doing the Qatarlson success strategy too.
She actually was useful to all, many laughs too, by exposing Blake Lively and hubs efforts to ripoff the “It Ends with Us” franchise from Baldoni. A good lesson in Hollywood ego-tripping greed, they figured ripoff Baldoni and produce this themselves. Where the real money is.
Baldoni’s production company produced the highly successful first one. Lively and Ryan Reynolds chafed at being mere underpaid actors, while Baldoni’s production company made the tens of millions. So defame Baldoni with sex accusations, to steal his franchise for themselves.
Internet fame via provocation, is why Owens crusade “proving” that Macron’s wife was born a man. With her robbing from the cradle, when Macron was her 25 years younger student. This makes it easier for Candace fans to make the leap of faith, “Maybe she was born a man!” And it not just faith here, Owens lays it all out logically, how Brigitte Marie-Claude Macron was born a man.
What ever Tucker’s on he better back away from it because it won’t end well.
