Would this be Squeaky Fromme or the other nutcase lady?
The 1st one.
A true WEF/Davos globalist, decades before even had a clue what they were all about.
Manson family member Lynette Fromme tried to assassinate President Ford on Sept 5, 1975 in Sacramento with a .45 caliber handgun.
Sara Jane Moore tried to assassinate President Ford 17 days later in San Francisco. Former Marine and Vietnam veteran Oliver Sipple grabbed her arm and her one shot did not hit anyone.
I heard on the radio from Paul Harvey, that Sara Jane Moore had once been found passed out outside the Truman White House.
When she escaped from prison in 1979 she was said to be heading in the direction of Washington DC when recaptured.
Talk about dodging a bullet!
Instead, Rockefeller died "in the saddle" so to speak.
America dodged a bullet that day in more ways than one.
Nelson Rockefeller was a disaster for the Republican minority, representing what was the “globalist” brand of diplomacy rampant even back then.
Then they tried to kill Reagan to get GHW Bush installed.
Yep.
Most Americans don’t know but Ford was a real war hero.
He helped save his aircraft carrier during “Halsey’s Typhoon” in Dec ‘44
I remember the HUGE headline in The Los Angeles Times the next day....
MANSON GIRL TRIES TO SHOOT PRESIDENT.
In smaller font underneath...
PULLS GUN IN CROWD AT SACRAMENTO.
After the second attempt, another headline....
PRESIDENT ESCAPES ASSASSINS BULLET.
If Nelson Rockefeller had been the Republican nominee in 1976 (could hardly have been denied the nomination if he was President), he probably would have lost to some mediocre Democrat idiot.
President Morris Udall.
Why do Republican Presidents always get someone to try to assassinate them, when Democrat Presidents don’t?
Or Reagan might have won in 1976.
Ford was smart enough to dump Rockefeller as his running mate in 1976, but it wasn’t quite enough for him to win.
Yes, Reagan might well have won in 1976 if he had been the nominee, and would likely have avoided many of the disasters of the Carter era. But he would have finished his second term too early to deal with Gorbachev so he would have been dealing with old-style apparatchniks in the Kremlin. But he might have had a different Vice President, so perhaps that person would have been President in 1985 and after and possibly able to take advantage of the new flexibility in the USSR.
Them things are mighty handy even if just refreshing one's memory. ;-)
