Jonah Goldberg, editor-in-chief of The Dispatch and longtime Never-Trumper, suggested that the Democrats could send the military to confiscate firearms from law-abiding Americans.
Goldberg framed his comments during a panel discussion on violent crime in major Democrat-run cities, comparing it to Donald Trump’s efforts to use federal resources to restore order in places like Chicago.
Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson signed an executive order last month, titled the “Protecting Chicago Initiative,” aimed at preventing the potential deployment of the National Guard by President Donald Trump to address the city’s rampant crime issues.
Johnson, a far-left Democrat, claims the order is necessary to defend residents’ constitutional rights amid fears of what he calls an “unconstitutional and illegal military occupation.”

Says he wants to start a war that the Government will actually lose. Once that war starts and the ‘Rule of Law’ is officially gone, you have to wonder wants going to happen to the Democrats in retaliation.
They hide behind the law to deprive Americans of their Constitutional rights and Constitution, but don’t understand that the shield disappears when when they destroy it. Then people will be angry, motivated, and no F-15, tanks, or military are going to stop the forth coming Karma retributions.
Start with all the Transgenders. Progress to all the protest wing of the Democrat Party. Finally, the gang bangers, and illegals sponsored by the Democrat Party. We might have a peaceful country, if the Democrats cleaned up their need for violence.
The U.S. military would get wiped out. Iraq is smaller than Texas. We are better armed, and the military would be standing on top of its own logistical tail.
This’ll be after the military does a palace coup on the WH and takes all the Republicans in Congress out and shoots them, of course.

Stop and frisk works. Felon in possession of firearm = a felony. Allow stores to use metal detectors for anyone entering and then have cops there to frisk anyone setting off the alarm. A few dozen arrests and word will get out. It’s primarily black males ages 14-30 committing a high % of these crimes. So it’s 2% of the population in these cities committing over half the crimes. Easy solutions but we lack the will. Libs WANT the crime because the criminal are their brownshirts there to drive out taxpayers (black, white, hispanic) who may vote against their far-left agenda. Control Philly = control Pennsylvania. State by state they do this and it allows them to steal elections and install mindless corrupt stooges like Biden.Law abiding citizens should not have to suffer this kind of treatment. How about this, catch a criminal when he does a crime and put him under the prison.
And how would “they” know who has guns?
Oh, that’s right, you have to register, via form 4473, every time you purchase a firearm from an FFL. But of course they would never use that info to confiscate your lawfully purchased firearms dontchaknow

A quick review of the work of the Einsatzgruppen in WW2 will quickly show that a LOT of the mass murders committed in Eastern Europe were committed by LOCAL POLICE forces.
