Some have suggested that Göbekli Tepe may be Noah’s altar.
Amazing!
That doesn’t fit very well with what has been uncovered in the excavations.
Some are in left field. /s
It is because of all the carved animals and its location. I dont offhand know what has been uncovered that would refute this theory.
Is there any evidence of vineyards anywhere where Noah might have landed?
I would caution that the climate 10,000 years ago was much wetter than it is today, or so it is believed. The rainfall at that area might have supported vineyards then. I wouldn’t expect to see any direct evidence today of them, however, as any organic matter would have long since rotted away. Perhaps seeds might be found?
Genesis 9:20
A vineyard that dated to when the site was active would not be proof but it would be a good indicator.
So far, no vineyard.
They’re only excavating the spot where the stone pillars have been found. Who knows what lies buried even a few hundred, or a few thousand, feet beyond that? If you’ve just emerged onto a new world where you and your family are the only survivors, you can pretty much put things wherever you want, and use as much land as you want. No need to pile everything within an acre or two.
Civilization seems to form them fade over and over again. Our current state where it seems like it will continue into the foreseeable future is the exception, not the rule.

There might still be fossilized Pollen... If they even look...
Hunter Gatherers. Right.
Genesis 8
4 Then the ark rested... on the mountains of Ararat...
15 Then God spoke to Noah, saying,
16 “Go out of the ark...
18 So Noah went out, and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives...
19 Every animal... went out of the ark.
20 Then Noah built an altar to the Lord
(Sounds like the altar was built right after they left the ark.)
____
question:
how far from Mount Ararat is Mendik Tepe which is located in the rural Payamlı neighborhood of Eyyübiye district in Şanlıurfa province
ai response:
The archaeological site of Mendik Tepe is approximately 601 kilometers (373 miles) from Mount Ararat.
Oh, just wow!
I believe, as do many scholars, that our civilization is collapsing. It shows all of the signs of one of the last stages.
Turkey is just one big dig, isn’t it!
Noah’s stockyard.
