A proper gender balance in jazz teachers is critical to the welfare of the country. (I think it was Benjamin Franklin who said that first.)
So hire more female jazz teachers. Or fire many male jazz teachers. Oh, wait. Maybe get some of the male teachers to identify as female. That will work, too.
I don’t care which option - or combination of options - is chosen. Just get ‘er done!

Many years ago in San Diego, the owner of Hazard construction was accused of not having a racially diverse body of employees. He was told what was expected in terms of racial percentages. He called an employee meeting to explain the accusation and expectations. He noted to "fix" the racial disparity of his work force vs expections, he would have to fire a few black employees...he had "too many". It was a big middle finger to the accusers. He said that he wouldn't be making any changes and dismissed the meeting.
