They should limit what can be bought with such cards. Booze, cigarettes, snacks, and candy should be off limits. Indeed, doing so might cause some of them to get off their a$$ and get a job.

To be clear EBT cards can not be legally used to buy those items you listed except candy. That also needs to be eliminated
But we know they will still cheat with the EBT cards

I always thought there was a limit. For years I saw people in the grocery checkout tearing tickets out of books. I guess the card replaced those. I don’t see that anymore and it must be because they are swiping cards at the checkout? Now you can’t tell so you don’t see if they’re buying junk with “taxpayer funds” or a debit/credit card. Maybe that was the purpose of changing? Save them the embarrassment?
