Don’t forget how they milked Kapernick. Any publicity is good publicity.
It was a silly idea. Nobody really discusses anything important with the TV people. And it wasn’t banning him from the booth, it was the prep interviews. You know when the color commentator says “we were talking to the coaches this week...” those interviews. Where, again, no strategy or anything important is ever discussed.
Yes. Televised football has become a production for entertainment purposes and maximum financial value. Now we know why they are paid so much.
They must remain real quiet.
The nfl is quite adept at not killing the golden goose.....they’ve done it with players and coaches for decades.
Tv stations thst broadcast games as well.

On the flip side, if they want you gone....you’re gone. You can ask John Gruden about that.
He's apparently related to the dude on the right in this picture... But I think he looks more like the dude on the left.
Conflict of interest? It’sa kids game for crying out loud. They afraid Brady might slant his conjecture and comments towards his team? Would it mess up fantasy football? Silliness…
They owners of the NFL korporation have contracts with online gambling korporations.
The "sport" is as real as WWE wrestling. Just waiting for someone to jump off a ladder and hit Tom Brady on the head with a folding chair.
Brady giving commentary is no conflict of interest, and personally, I’d like to hear how he thinks. We’ve seen him in action enough...
Now conflict of interest concerning the NFL is ghetto thugs getting away with bad to criminal behavior; gay and trans cheerleaders, BLM worship, NFL goal line socialist slogans, people like Bob Costa spouting off about Trump and politics that have NOTHING to do with football and kneeling disrespectfully for our beloved national anthem.
They probably also wanted to make sure he didn’t jump back in as a player. It was as good to have strict rules until they were sure he was completely done as a football player. They must be satisfied now. Good for Brady and Fox.
Well, he pretty much violated the restrictions last year. He isn’t supposed to criticize the referees because he’s an owner now. He did. And people who call the games get to meet with the teams and they possibly have access to the opposing teams game plan, and other info that could be of use to the team they’re playing. He did something he wasn’t supposed to do with regard to that.
This is so much crap.
Tom Brady doesn’t work for any specific team. Brady is the game analyst for FOX’s No. 1 NFL broadcasting team, working alongside play-by-play man Kevin Burkhardt. Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi round out the crew as sideline reporters. Every Sunday, FOX assigns Brady and company to its top matchup. So he doesn’t support’ or is paid by any team to determine his assignments. So how can that be a conflict of interest? This is just the NFL going after Brady again because they didn’t like him. Course they liked the money he brought to the owners during his playing days.
I’m not a big fan of Brady but facts and history tell a story of persecution from the owners. And most of it downright stupid. Just another created pro football controversy that sells newspapers while the owners can hide behind the media.

I HATE the sports media wing of Elite Stream Media.
Excoriate Aaron Rodgers for the populist stance against the clot shot and on the other hand DEIFY the likes of Tom Brady who pimped FTX which was nothing more than a PONZI scheme.
Not to mention Brady cashing in on the public humiliation and denigration of his kids’ mother again for profit.
This boy would do anything for money, just like Travis Pfizer as Rodgers so aptly called Mr. Taylor Swift or Tranny beer Paintin’ Manning for that matter.
