Someone suggested yesterday that Chinese nationals not be allowed to attend grad school.

In my opinion, a Chinese national should not be allowed to be in any secured area connected to an entity which has received over $1 million in federal funding in any recent 12-month period wherein electrical engineering or biochemistry research which could be expected to be of value to the US military or a drug company is being conducted. Federal research grants should have supporting language in them.

The University of Rochester is a private school. I’m assuming the school’s endowment is paying for that foreign scholarship, not NYS.

I guess the universities will just have to start admitting more white American students to close the gap.

“ Good. I voted for this. Defund the universities. Make them make hard decisions about what they do.”
—————
This!

A large part of the reason why universe are able to hire leftist propaganda, experts, and brainwash. A large part of our youth is because of all the funds coming in from overseas. I wouldn’t mind if perhaps 3% to 5% of the student body of a university came from allied nations, But the idea of having more than that coming from any nation who could afford to pay the tuition is absurd, and not only doesn’t serve the interest of this country, it hurts us a lot. On top of everything else, these people take spots that could go to Americans, and they raise the price of tuition for everybody who goes to that institution.

Good!

Thank you for filling out your College Admission Network application online and paying our fee.

If approved, you will be eligible to go to any of over 500 member colleges in the USA provided you fulfill the placement deposit requirements of your preferred college on time.

Remember all those NBC News/Ass Press stories about American workers struggling because of Rat policies on taxation, DEI, regulatory burdens and energy?

Nah. Me neither.

There are probably a lot of courses that aren’t all that popular that colleges could cut .

And this is relevant how? A “loan” to an American citizen is not the same thing as GIVING countless $millions to non-citizens on the taxpayer’s back only to end up on the national debt of $37,000,000,000,000, and growing.

Get the US government out of education period!

And get rid of all the black, gay, ethnic, underwater basket weaving studies and actually teach useful courses.

There’s probably a senior assisted living opportunity for some of these as well.

I think it’s better for them to go bankrupt first. They can restart teaching what people want or need to know only.
Finally, the myth which developed in the 2000’s about college education(except the hard sciences) being so valuable is dying

Perhaps they should reduce the bureaucrat/educator ratio to a number less than 1. That might make them into something resembling real schools.
