As a newly retired (thankfully)police officer.. I called this years ago… how long would it take before these people started refusing warrants and legal paperwork based on who they identify as.. and here we are

He reneged on all kinds of debts and treaties with the EU and others after the “fall” of the Soviet Union in the 90’s and its reincorporation as “The Russian Federation” by telling everyone the country which owed the money no longer existed.
The IMF and world court never fully adjudicated this novel approach to welching on global debt, but it seems to have worked in his favor especially once Gasprom began extracting virtually unlimited and cheap natural gas to sell on the world market.
