Former state police sergeant arrested following investigation into viral Youtube confrontation (cop who spat in face of youtuber)

GROTON, Conn. (WFSB) - A former state police sergeant has been arrested following a confrontation in front of his home.

On July 11, a Youtuber and his cameraman parked a digital billboard outside former state police sergeant Brian Fahey’s home in Groton.

The billboard displayed a previous interaction the Youtuber, Sean Paul Reyes, had with Fahey in 2021 at the state police headquarters in Middletown.

Reyes had gone to the home to confront Fahey over his alleged abuse of overtime.

In the video, Fahey is seen grabbing a gun and spitting on Reyes.

The incident was investigated by the Office of the State’s Attorney Judicial District of Windham.

As a result of their investigation, 53-year-old Brian Fahey was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

He was released on a court-set promise to appear for arraignment at Danielson Superior Court on September 3.

Fahey was placed on unpaid administrative leave while the investigation unfolded. He later retired from the police force.

Police said a mugshot was not provided because this is a misdemeanor crime.

I watched the video when it was posted.

No, he wasn’t. I never saw evidence of ‘no trespassing’ signs despite the cop’s claims and Reyes was retreating to the street the entire time.

Arguments could be made, but he wasn’t charged.

The wake of all of it appears to be qualified justice based on facts, ironically rare.

No he was Not. That Psycopath of a State Police Sargeant told the interviewer to leave the property and the interviewer was walking back to the Cu de sac when the Cop went into his house ,got a gun then pursued him all the way back to the Cul de sac, which is Public property.

During that pursuit the cop was chest bumping the interviewer all the way in an attempt to get the interviewer angry enough to take defensive action so the cop could shoot him in anger.

That cop has a history of shooting others.Thats one of the reasons he manned a desk and was taken off of patrol.

It also looked like the guy backing up(and why back up? why not face down the driveway and walk out?) short-stepped(or brake-checked) a couple of times to help cause contact.

I’m pretty sure you can’t charge anyone for trespassing after he’s entered your property by claiming I gave him a verbal warning. LOL.....that’s like trying to get fire insurance after a fire to cover the losses from the fire.
