How many kids have fallen through the cracks while under social services care. I remember reading stories of children that went missing while in foster care, and it wasn't discovered until years later. A 10 year old girl repeatedly runs away from home, and nobody saw that as a fire alarm?

There are good people in Children's Services. That should never be confused with Children's Services being a good department.

In prison they are likely to get executed...child abusers don’t get treated particularly well by the inmates, and heinous cases like this will attract lots of retribution attempts. Their only hope of survival long term is solitary confinement.
