I was looking at street plan of Plymouth, from about 1620 and comparing to the same streets (why would they ever change?) today. On the corner where Governor Bradford’s house had been there is now an astrologer’s office. The bones in the burying ground up the must be spinning.
As John Lenox has said jokingly (paraphrased), "No one is as fervent about his religion as an atheist."
People in rebellion against God will have to fill the resulting vacuum with something.
They like bumper stickers too. Lots of them.
Maybe also a big conservative/liberal divide? Humans seem to need some sort of religion.
If it is stupid, I’m sure they’ll give it a try
G. K. Chesterton
LBGTQ people are in rebellion against God and nature so naturally they will seek meaning and order elsewhere.
The idea that star charts thousands of years out of date could predict the future is laughable in the extreme.
I have known many professing Christians that read horoscopes in the news papers for entertainment purposes.
I would on occasion warn them against it as it opens them up to demonic forces.
Tarot Cards are even more dangerous.
Astrology is about as realistic as Greek Mythology. Gays, lesbians, trans, etc., all believe they are something they are not, so therefore they will believe anything they want, real or not. If two people were born on the same day, same time, would they both have the same personality? Absurd.
Interesting that’s there’s nothing about Ouija boards. Or would that be giving too much away for them?
They’d rather follow a supernatural force than a supernatural being because a supernatural force won’t tell them they can’t be way.
And in other news water is wet& fire is hot😜. So who gives a fart in a hurricane???
Big Perversion and they care for their “religion” of stars.
The more Godless our society gets, the more homosexuals come climbing out of the woodwork. As we wax worse and worse, we get worse and worse, like the trans epidemic taking place. What comes after that...?
All the counsel you have received has only worn you out!
Let your astrologers come forward,
those stargazers who make predictions month by month,
let them save you from what is coming upon you.
Isaiah 47:13
When people reject the truth, they will believe anything.
Like Nancy Reagan and Jeane Dixon.
In the overall population, 30 percent of all U.S. adults reported consulting astrology, horoscopes, tarot cards, or fortune tellers at least once a year. Twenty percent said they engage in the practices “just for fun,” while 10 percent said they do it because they “believe the practices give them helpful insights.”Queer adults “stand out,” the report states, as they are the “most likely of all the demographic subgroups analyzed in the survey to say they consult fortune tellers, tarot cards, or horoscopes to obtain helpful insights.”
The demon-possessed consult their "god" for guidance.
Desperately wanting validation for their poor choices. Tragic.
