The Elias Law Group is suing again – this time to kill an Ohio law aimed at blocking foreign nationals from voting in U.S. elections.
ussia collusion hoax peddler Marc Elias and his leftist lawfare group are pushing another federal lawsuit aimed at stripping election integrity protections that prevent noncitizens from voting.
The Elias Law Group’s complaint, filed on behalf of liberal “voter rights” organizations, claims the state’s new law requiring documented proof of U.S. citizenship before individuals may register to vote at the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles “threatens to disenfranchise thousands of eligible citizens.” The law does no such thing, and the lawsuit — filled with the Elias Law Group’s usual hyperbolic spin — may well suffer the same fate as a similar election law complaint the law firm filed in Wyoming.
Red Wine & Blue and the Ohio Alliance for Retired Americans argue that the law, included in the legislature’s transportation funding bill, violates the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) and the U.S. Constitution.
“HB 54’s new proof-of-citizenship requirement imposes unnecessary obligations to register to vote in violation of the NVRA,” the lawsuit asserts. “HB 54 violates the U.S. Constitution because it is impermissibly vague, giving no guidance as to what constitutes sufficient proof of United States citizenship.”
It’s more of the same from Elias and “dark money” leftist groups attacking election-integrity measures in the name of “voter rights.”
“Both federal law and the Ohio Constitution prohibit noncitizens from voting. But now dark money groups represented by D.C. operatives are challenging a law that prevents noncitizens from registering to vote at the BMV,” Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose said in a statement in response to the lawsuit......SNIP

This was one of the reasons for the illegal invasion from the beginning.
Reason 2 was to get a compliant voting base to vote dem, and the ability to import as many as it takes to win forever.
Reason 3 is that Dems still salty about losing their slaves so they want a permanent serf class.
This guy is a sick bastard. I think it’s time to ammend the US Constitution that for ANY elected position, whether state, local or national, the voter MUST be a US Citizen.
In a perfect world, or even an average one Elias would be in prison for years having been convicted of multiple frauds.

Elias is vile. I can’t say what should happen to him, but it should happen.
I think it should simply be this.
If a non-citizen votes, or ineligible persons vote, in a State for Federal office, then the State no longer is counted towards the Federal election. Those states with more votes than registered voters in areas, or illegals voting, or every one with a supposed sequential voter registration and all of them ending in ‘Zero’. They get caught and there voting isn’t counted towards Federal Elections and won’t be until they can prove compliance in the next election.
Elections are left up to the states, they are empowered. When you have power you have responsibility. It’s time for States to treat Federal ballots and Voters like banks treat money.

It’s only voting. Dems can’t win elections with real votes.
And refuse to seat their US Representatives and 2 Senators. Zero federal representation. No federal funds.

I would move to dismiss his lawsuit as moot since all of the non-citizens will soon be deported.
No wonder the Clintons are close friends with Elias, he’s as criminal as they are.
