The wealth of culture these stolen instruments have been taken out of the hands of those who made the best use of them was enormous. It reveals the depths of evil, those who have stole them, have promoted Gomorrah.
Some of those guys were lucky to be able to replace Gibson Les Pauls with good quality guitars.
Keep em oiled up and you can play them for centuries.
Lol.
Junior Brown and his wife, Tanya Rae Brown, had their guitars stolen from a rental car parked at a hotel they were staying at in North Attleborough, Massachusetts. Brown’s was his second custom-built “guit-steel” guitar, nick-named “Big Red.” He had to resume use of his original custom-built guit-steel, nicknamed “Old Yeller.”
Despite appeals from fans, the public, and the offer of a $3000 reward for their return, neither of the Browns’ guitars have been recovered. Brown’s own fear is that Big Red may be have been destroyed due to the thieve’s inability to sell or fence such a unique instrument tied solely to Brown.
I recall a statement at the time from Brown that the custom guit-steel guitar built to his design specifications cost around $10,000 to make.
World’s oldest violin (1566). Doesn’t sound a day over 50.

Bin Scott’s stolen bagpipes have never been recovered.
Not to be nit-picky (/s), but, the love of money is the root of all evil. YUGE difference.
Good correction. I should have remembered the correct saying.
Nothing evil about money. It’s the LOVE of money...
“Bin Scott’s stolen bagpipes have never been recovered.”
And Bin’s neighbors are glad. They probably stole it.
The hotel staff obviously knew nothing about pianos. You don’t move one for tuning. You let it sit in its place for a few weeks and then tune it.
Digital technology is stealing both culture and instruments everyday... Save culture... Unplug...
Money is a tool, nothing more. The LOVE of money is the root of all evil. As is the love of anything which displaces God in our lives.

You are correct sir.
cause you’re wanted by the police and my wife thinks you’re dead.
junior brown
Junior Brown is awesome.
Peter Frampton’s Les Paul Custom is a pretty good story. Some 17 year old kid in the islands recognized it in a pawn store I think, and got it back to him after being lost for decades. There are several articles about it out there.
I myself had a beautiful purple paisley Telecaster stolen out of my house in 1988. I stupidly left it on my sofa with case open on full display for the thief. They stole my roommate’s stereo and I never saw that guitar again.

Remind me to tell you
Bout the old silver miner
Name of hard rock Pete
Had his house built on a slope
They say one of his legs
Lived in Calico
Ther's a rumour going round
That the other lived in hope
So I walked in the room
And I stopped
I turned around
And looked over my shoulder
And a voice close beside me said
You'd better watch your head
The party's over
Somebody stole my guitar
They took it from
The back seat of my car
It wasn't long before
The waitress came over and said
Can I freshen up your drink
And have you heard of these boys
And if you feel included
To buy some cowboy boots
Well it's not that bad
We can talk above the noise
So I sucked on my beer
Shut my eyes
And tried to listen to the words
I know I missed the meaning
But the message
Was something I'd already heard
Johnny Ringo's voice
Is getting deeper
And now he's going to put
Another lock on the door
The night is getting later
My head is getting lighter
The mood is getting darker
Tequila's being poured
So I smile
At the old gunslinger
In his frame on the wall
As he pushed back his hat
And it's all coming back
I'd cut a long story short
But it's much too late for that
I was sleeping in Memphis
In my hotel room
And somebody stole my guitar
