Usually the damage they do is damage that must be repaired immediately, houses are left with no front door and no windows and if you don’t have the money or credit to do something right now, then you are in real personal danger and leaving the house for any reason, like work, means everything is exposed to man and beast, and the season or weather makes a difference as well.

And your insurance company will not pay.

So the insurance companies need to pay for damage done by government to your stuff and then they can seek compensation from the government (Federal, State, Local) to cover their losses. I know both will whine about their pocket books.

My heart bleeds not.
