#1 reason should be strictly on the legal basis.
But I’m OK with revenge / retribution / paybacks.
Either one works for me.
That's what many people don't get.
Bolton made himself a security risk by his actions examples must be made.
It’s not retribution because these charges are real, not fake like the various Trump attacks.
“They say that these actions are retribution for the nasty things that Bolton has said...”
By this sick logic we shouldn’t have had the Nuremburg trials, or any criminal trials for that matter. Might be accused of “retribution”.
Throw back the little ones, pan fry the big ones....
“The Democrats and many Republicans are crying foul over the raid on John Bolton”
‘And many Republicans’
Oh, please.
We've seen that being used a great deal against Trump since 2016, and it is wrong.
But, this is not what is going on here. This is not retribution. These are the consequences of abusing the government, and it's only when the abusers are held accountable that we can ensure that it doesn't happen again.
If it is legal, it = justice. Period.
Hey, I know that song! Out of the fryin’ pan and into the fire with ‘em.
